VOLUNTEERS & PARENTAL SUPPORT 

MBYL is a pure volunteer organization created to teach the great game of lacrosse to the youth of our community.  This season, MBYL expects to continue to grow the program as part of the fastest growing sport in the US.  We are in need of volunteers as coaches, team managers, Board positions, game day help, and for other roles.  We also have strict guidelines being put in place by the NVYLL requiring field commissioners for all home games.  Below is a list of positions we need to fill immediately:

Board, At-large member
Board, Equipment Director
Board, Field Scheduling Director
Girls U9 coach
Girls assistant coaches, U9 and U11
Boys coaches and assistant coaches at all age levels

We need as much help as possible from the parents. Assistant coaches are always in demand to help with practice and games. Even if you have no experience with lacrosse, we can use the help and you can learn the sport. Assistants in the past have started with youth teams and actually moved on to coaching at higher levels. Each team needs a “team mother/father” or several, to help with the administrative coordination (e.g. phone tree, snacks, parties, directions).

We need parents to volunteer and join the MBYL board and attend meetings to assist with the planning for the future of the club.  Thank you for your support of MBYL.
